Bioswales

Save the Sound has been working diligently since mid-April with their Seasonal Site Leads to assess site feasibility for bioswale installations in the West Side/ West End of Bridgeport. The Flow Project had a goal to assess a minimum of 60 sites by the end of June. As of late June, a total of 85 locations have been assessed. Once the data collection portion of the project is completed, the information gathered will be submitted to the City of Bridgeport for review and next steps will be discussed in consort with Save the Sound’s Ecological Restoration team.
